What this is

Joker (jokeri.pw) is a free, skill-based multiplayer card game. It is a personal project, not a commercial product. No real money is involved. There is no blockchain, no NFTs, and no pay-to-win mechanics.

What data we collect

If you create an account, we store:

Your chosen username
Your email address (optional — only if you provide it for password reset)
A hashed (not readable) version of your password
Your gameplay statistics: games played, wins, scores, bid accuracy
Your in-game token balance and login streak
Your cosmetic preferences (table theme, card style, deck color)

If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile name and email from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive or store your Google password.

If you play as a guest, no account data is stored — only a temporary session for the duration of your game.

What we do not collect

Payment information (there are no payments)
Location data
Device identifiers beyond a standard session cookie
Any data for advertising purposes

How your data is used

Your data is used solely to operate the game: authenticating your account, recording scores on the leaderboard, and saving your preferences across sessions. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

Data storage

Account and gameplay data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (railway.app), a US-based cloud infrastructure provider. Data is retained as long as your account exists.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing contact@jokr.online. We will delete it within 7 days.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage to store your session token and preferences (theme, language, card style). No third-party tracking cookies are used.

Children

This game is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will be updated. Continued use of the game constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
